THK Ball Screw DK2005-3 High Precision Lead 5mm Ball Screw

THK DK2005-3 ball screw, screw outer diameter 20mm, lead 45mm. The ball screw assembly consists of a nut and a threaded shaft, either of which can be the moving element. The working principle of the ball screw is that hardened steel ball bearings move along hardened inner and outer raceways.

Precision ball screws are made by cutting threads into hardened material, which produces more accurate threads with tighter tolerances and lead accuracy - but they cost more than rolled linear ball screws.
