The NSK PSS1510N1D1179 ball screw has an outer diameter of 15mm, a lead of 10mm, and N1D is NSK's management code. The overall length of the ball screw shaft is 1179mm, with C5 precision and a flange-type nut.
Features of the compact FA series PSS type ball screw PSS1510N1D1179:
Quiet operation. Hearing noise is reduced by 50%, with a 6dB reduction in noise level.
Compact design. The nut outer diameter can be reduced by up to 30% (compared to other NSK products), exemplified by the thinner XY table, allowing for miniaturization designs in various machine devices.
High speed. The maximum limiting speed reaches 5000 min⁻¹, significantly increasing the usable range.
Standard grease nipple included. A grease nipple (M5X0.8) is standard equipment, featuring two grease ports for easy use and connection to centralized piping.
The contact-type sealing ring and the nut's appearance achieve a compact design compared to the pipe-circulation type.
Low-profile design. A dedicated low-profile support unit is used in conjunction with the small FA system PSS type, resulting in a unique and innovative design.
