The advantage of the internal circulation structure of PMI FSIC4010 Ball Screw is that the outer diameter of the nut is a delicate “circumferential type” (see Figure 1). Therefore, PMI FSIC4010 Ball Screw is suitable for machines with small internal space. It should be noted that the screw shaft of the internal circulation ball screw must have one end with full thread and the shoulder diameter of this end must be smaller than the root diameter of the screw shaft, otherwise the nut cannot be assembled.
FSIC is an important series code in PMI’s ball screw product line. It stands for Flanged Single Inner Circulation. This name directly points out the core structural features of the FSIC4010 screw:
Flanged: One end (or both ends) of the FSIC4010 screw nut has a flange mounting surface, which is convenient for direct bolt fixing on the equipment base, easy installation and space saving.
Single: Usually refers to a single nut design (different from the double nut preload structure).
Inner Circulation: The circulation path of the ball inside the nut (usually end cap type or plug type) is completely enclosed inside the nut body and is not exposed to the outside.
