THK SHS35LC Linear Guide Structure and Features
The steel balls roll along the 4 rows of rolling surfaces that are precisely ground on the LM rail and L slider; the steel ball rows are circulated through the ball retainer and the end cover plate assembled on the LM slider.
In order to make the 4 directions of action on the LM slider (radial, reverse radial and lateral) have the same rated load, each steel ball row of the THK SHS35LC Linear Guide is designed to be arranged at a contact angle of 45°, so it can be used in any posture. Because it can apply equal preload, it maintains a low friction coefficient while improving rigidity in the 4 directions.
