Structure and Features
THK SRS5WGN Linear Guide Ball Cage Type LM Guide SRS type adopts a structure that has 2 raceways built into a compact body, which can withstand loads in all directions and can be used in locations where a single rail acts with torque. In addition, the use of a ball cage eliminates friction between balls, which enables the THK SRS5WGN Linear Guide to achieve high speed, low noise, acceptable operating sound, long service life, and long-term maintenance-free operation.
[Low dust generation] The use of a ball cage eliminates friction between balls and retains lubricant, which enables the THK SRS5WGN Linear Guide to achieve low dust generation. In addition, stainless steel with extremely strong corrosion resistance is used for the LM slider and LL rail.
[Compact] Since the SRS has a compact structure, the LM rail cross section is designed to be low, and only 2 rows of balls are included, the THK SRS5WGN Linear Guide can be installed in a space-saving location.
[Lightweight] Since part of the LM block (e.g., around the ball release hole) is made of resin and insert molded, the SRS is a lightweight, low-inertia type LM Guide.
